Jeff T. Shell, DDS

Dr. Jeff T. Shell, West Lake EndoDr. Jeff T. Shell was born in Tyler, Texas in 1974. After brief stops in Louisiana and Oklahoma, he grew up in Houston, Texas, attending Kingwood high school. Upon graduation, Dr. Shell followed in his father’s footsteps attending Louisiana Tech University where he received a B.S. in biology graduating summa cum laude. He also lettered and was a 4 year member of the men’s golf team.

After college he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center dental school in San Antonio where he received his D.D.S. degree in 2000 graduating summa cum laude and gaining membership into Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He then completed a one-year AEGD residency at the VA Hospital in San Antonio and subsequently worked for one year in the veteran’s outpatient clinic. In 2002 he entered into his endodontic residency in San Antonio and received his certificate in 2004.

Dr. Shell is currently a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, a board eligible member of the American Board of Endodontists, a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association as well as the Capital Area Dental Society.

In his free time Dr. Shell continues to enjoy competitive amateur golf at the local, state and national level as well as enjoying Austin life with his wife and 2 young daughters.
